Mick Hall, Australia’s acclaimed fly tyer and fisher will be at The Fishing Connection, 87-91 Harrington Street, Hobart, tying his latest creations and discussing his most recent theories on “angling entomology “ on March 23, between 10am-4pm..
Mick will be featuring such flies as the Dark Dun, Quick Silver, March Brown, Black, Olive, Grey Dun, Blue Winged and Pale Olive. Of course if you have a favourite pattern Mick will most probably tie this one for you as well.
This workshop is designed not just for the beginner but also for those with many years of experience – so come and see one of the country’s trouting legends in action.
UPDATE: Mick will also be flying ties at a Corralinn Flyfishing Club function on March 16 at the Tailrace Centre at Riverside.
Cost is $10 per adult, $5 kids with proceeds going to bushfires fund.
