The Source – Tasmania leads film festival

The Source – Tasmania‘ is the lead feature of the ‘Rise – Fly Fishing Film Festival 2009‘ with its stunning movies from global destinations including Tasmania, India, and Russia.

Part of a series, ‘The Source’, the world’s largest fishing film festival, exposes the best fly fishing destinations from around the world. This year’s film is complemented with a high-energy soundtrack and includes well-known bands from Australia and New Zealand.

When asked about the inspiration for ‘The Source – Tasmania‘, the film’s director and producer, Nick Reygaert, said: “‘The Source‘ is about finding quality fly fishing destinations that are a little bit off the tourist map.

“Tasmania, as a fly fishing destination, has incredible diversity and beauty, it was the perfect setting for the adventure-driven fly fishing movie we wanted to make.
